Every Wednesday we have been going to our "young adults" (we are pushing it since we are the oldest ones there) church group. We have an amazing Pastor that speaks and they are very artsy and give great word pictures so I LOVE going and always get tons out of it. So we are doing a series on Stories and Character development and it's all very deep about how our lives "stories" should reflect Christ. SOOOOO this is a book that I made to take notes and reflect on throughout the week.

The word of the series is "exemplum" if you are curious the meaning Google it. It's interesting...

The inside of this book is filled with different textures and paper, envelopes, starbucks sleeves, and bags. I love it and can't wait to add to it.

I wish...

I wish this layout was never true!!!! This one always makes me and DH giggle. But we really do get weeds in our back yard SOOOO BAD. We need landscaping help. It usually takes us a couple months to clear it away. But at least the kiddos have fun!!

This month with My little Shoebox we were partnering up with Coredinations cardstock!! Boy was that FUN to play with. The texture of this paper is AWESOME and the CORES are Colored depending on what line you get. You must check them out. Whoo loves ya...

LOVE this layout and I LOVE this paper, it's one of those things that just makes you smile!!!

LOve these circles.... ahhhh it's killin' me with the cute-ness of this paper!!! I also paired it up with the super cute Unity kit called "Owl always love you" and I used the Slice to ad the flourish at the top!!

LOVE IT!!! I can't wait to create some more!! I've been having some major fun lately!!

My Little Shoebox and Unity a great partnership

I think I like this layout. It's defiantly not my favorite I've ever done and I kept adding more and more to it and I think that is what messed it up for me. But it obviously isn't that bad or I wouldn't have posted it!!

Anywhoo, the photo is of me and my DEAR DEAR friend Heather, she moved away a few years ago and we just went out to Arizona to visit her and her growing family!! We had SOOO much fun!!!! GOOD TIMES!!!

One of my favs...

I think this is one of my most favorite cards I've done in a while, I love the simple feel of it. It just makes me happy!!! I think I need to make more of these!!

The cardstock is from Coredinations they sponsored us at My Little Shoebox this month so we got a ton of fun paper to play with and boy did we have FUN!!!

Hip Hop

Hip Hop REWIND...

Hey there hope you are all having a FANTASTIC week, here is my Hip Hop REWIND...

This is a prayer journal that I made for a dear friend of mine (i even made myself one for me). I used Cosmo Cricket papers, the Something Within stamp set, and Worn Grid.

I used my Bind It all to bind the book together with the scripture/prayer pages that I made up on the computer.

Baby Shower

I have been creating like CRAZY and been REALLY bad at updating my blog. School is done and last week I took all week to relax and catch up on stuff!! So now I am hoping to get in a little bit more of a normal routine.

I will start by sharing with you some baby shower stuff I made for a shower I hosted for my BFF a couple weeks ago.

This was a diaper cake that I made, the top layer was baby onsies with Scrapbooking stuff coming out of the top. The tag was made with Unity Stamps and the Slice.

Now here were the party favors that were made for the attendants who came. They were microwave popcorn bags with a tag saying that Carisa was ready to "POP". Isn't that the cutest thing ever!!!
